Congratulations to Admiral Rylee Shinn who
was crowned 2021 Cherry River Navy Sweetheart at a special Coronation
Ceremony held in the Sculpture Garden at 6:45 p.m. Friday, July 30th.
The ceremony was witnessed by friends and family and a few onlookers
waiting for the Friday Night Concert in the Garden to begin.

| I am Rylee Shinn your 2021
CRN Sweetheart. I am 18 years old, live in Richwood and
currently enrolled at Fairmont State University majoring in
Pre-Nursing. I plan on finishing up my Bachelors of Science in
Nursing there. My future plans are to become a Certified Nurse
Midwife. My parents are Shelly and Tommy Shinn and I have one
brother, Cody Smallwood. My mom owns a beauty salon and my dad
is an electrician in the coal mines. I was a very active student
in High School, I graduated being the class president, in
National Honor Society, apart of Student Council, on the track
team, and head majorette of the Lumberjack express. My hobby is
barrel racing, I have rode horses since I was in the third grade
and quickly picked up my love for it. The Cherry River Festival
is an event I always look forward to every year. I am so honored
to be the 2021 Cherry River Navy Sweetheart. |
